There and Back Again - from Louisiana to Africa and back
I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and moved to Africa with my husband in the 1970s when we were in our 20s. We lived there for two decades, me as a field botanist and he as a university professor. During our time we had many interesting life events, including me surviving a plane crash in Botswana!
Eventually we moved back to Louisiana in 1991, and started our book business. My husband Don eventually passed away in 2020, and I have continued along building the business to this day. I have two retail locations, an eBay store, and an Instagram showcasing my unique collection of books.
